Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about mobile notary services in Kitsap, Mason, and Jefferson counties.

A mobile notary comes to you. Instead of hunting down a notary during business hours, I travel to your home, office, hospital, or care facility anywhere in Kitsap, Mason, and Jefferson counties.

Think of it as a house call for your important paperwork.

Specializing in the hours other notaries don’t: weekdays before 7 AM and after 5 PM; weekends 7 AM to 10 PM, Saturday and Sunday; holidays by appointment.

Not at this time. I’m a commissioned Washington State notary focused on general notarial services — I’m not a loan signing agent, so I don’t handle full mortgage or refinance closing packages. If that’s what you need, I’m glad to point you in the right direction.

Powers of attorney, affidavits, healthcare directives, parental/travel consent forms, vehicle titles, estate documents (excluding loan packages), and most everyday one-off signatures. Not sure if yours qualifies? Just ask when you make your booking request.

Yes — and I’d rather be upfront so you don’t lose time. Here’s what falls outside what I offer:

Loan signings & mortgage closings — I’m not a loan signing agent, so I don’t handle mortgage, refinance, or full closing packages. (I’m glad to point you toward a certified loan signing agent.)
Legal advice — I can’t tell you which document you need, how to fill it out, or what it should say. As a notary, my role is to verify identity and witness signatures — not to advise on the document itself. For that, you’ll want an attorney.
Notarizing without the signer present — I have to personally witness you signing, with valid ID in hand. I can’t notarize a document you’ve already signed, or sign on someone else’s behalf.
Documents missing required witnesses — if your document requires witnesses, they must be present at the appointment. I can’t complete the notarization without them, and I’m not able to act as your witness myself.
Immigration or document preparation — I don’t prepare, translate, or complete forms for you. I notarize documents you’ve already prepared.
Notarizing incomplete documents — if a document has blank spaces, I can’t notarize it until it’s filled in.

When in doubt, just ask when you request to book — I’ll tell you honestly whether it’s something I can help with.

Two things: the complete, unsigned document (don’t sign ahead of time — I have to witness it), and a valid, unexpired photo ID (driver’s license, state ID, passport, or military ID). If your document needs witnesses, you’ll arrange those separately — I’ll explain how when we book.

Two parts, always transparent:

1. Notarial fees set by Washington State law (WAC 308-30-220).

2. A travel/convenience fee based on your location and time of day.

You get the full breakdown up front — no surprises.

Kitsap, Mason, and Jefferson counties. Outside that zone? Reach out anyway — I may be able to accommodate by request depending on timing and distance.
